ONGC has institutionalized research and
development in the oil & gas, and related sectors
and established separate institutions to undertake specific
activities in key areas of exploration, drilling, reservoir
management, production technology, ocean engineering,
safety and environment protection in the form of 9
independently-managed R&D centers.These institutes
are also supported by regional laboratories.
These R & D institutes with experienced and highly
qualified manpower support exploration and production
activities of ONGC.
